Here is how it goes:
PRI -> BCM -> PRI -> PSTN -> PRI -> IP500V2 -> H.323 -> Server edition.
I don't know if that is what you meant.
The sites are not linked together in any way.
Any thoughts on the choppiness on transfers?
Thanks.
I have a Server Edition 8.1 upgraded to the latest release. I have been battling a choppy voice issue since we installed a month ago.
They are recording calls and archiving to Xima. I listened to some of the calls. Some choppiness is coming from callers dialing into a PRI connected to a BCM...
After working with Avaya support for a couple of weeks, here is what fixed it. I had to change to a different city in the time zone section of the Server Edition web management, reboot the voicemail, change back to the correct city, and reboot voicemail again.
I am trying to determine if the IP Office Server Edition server is matching on port speed and duplex.
I ran two commands and they both gave me different results. The first one said it was 1000 Mbps and the second one said 100base-Tx.
[root@APMIPOSERVER ~]# dmesg | grep eth0

I have a 8.1 Server Edition with expansion unit. I have a Faxfinder FF240-IP with 4 channels.
Inbound works no problem.
I followed the guide exactly for the Faxfinder 240-IP and IP Office.
I attached a SIP trace from the IP Office monitor and a packet capture from the FaxFinder.

I added the music on hold file to the server while in production. It does not play. At what point does it tftp the file? Do I need to reboot the server or just restart the voicemail service?
Thanks.

I have a new Server Edition install.
Through the web interface, I have the time set as Chicago. This should be GMT -6. When I log into voicemail pro, the time shows correct on the bottom bar. The phones have the correct time. Voicemails are time stamped an hour ahead. When I log into...
Not really sure how to troubleshoot vm to email on the new Server Edition.
Here is what the log is telling me over and over.
07/01/2013 12:33:01.118 - bool CSMTPConnection::Disconnect(): Already disconnected from SMTP server, doing nothing.
Anyone have an idea on this?
Thanks.
Strangely enough, the problem was having the power cord plugged in and being plugged into a PoE port on the switch. Once I removed the power cord, they worked.
I have installed Cisco conference phones before that require the power cord and PoE but I guess that is not the case with the B179s.
I used the manual to setup a multitech faxfinder IP version. I have valid SIP truck licenses.
When I try to call one of the shortcodes that goes to a fax user, my phone comes back with unobtainable.
I ran a monitor trace on the SIP and I get this:
167877143mS Sip: License, Valid 1...
