External Calls going to the Attendant Console

Hi sbcsu, The trunk have COT 6 for sure, I triple checked it. It could be something else in the Hipath setup as you mentioned since the described Hack above worked as a workaround. I did get traces on the SIP side, there is no signaling being done when the call is intercepted by the attendant...

External Calls going to the Attendant Console

sbcsu, Thanks for your reply. In fact before posting here I was following the documentation breadcrumb trail and I saw those COT parameters. As you can see bellow, in the COT being used by this trunk (COT 6) none of the "Intercept...." (IIDL,INDG,IONS,ITB,IVAC,IBSY) parameters are enabled...

External Calls going to the Attendant Console

Hi, sorry I forgot to mention, this is on a Hipath 4000 system. There is no call forwarding (unconditional, busy or not answered) at all configured on this extension so it might be something else that is getting the external call on both cases and sending them to the Attendant Console.

External Calls going to the Attendant Console

Hi folks, I have two scenarios (that seems to be related) that I want to change but not sure how to. Case 1: An external call is received by a Trunk Circuit (E1-R2) with a busy analog extension as destination. The analog extensions hear the call waiting tone for some seconds and after a period...

Timer for E1-R2 (Brazil) channel (Dev type DIUCQ421) get response for outside call

Just for reference, I was able to resolve the issue. It turns out that I was reaching two 15 seconds timer. 1) The first one was in the Cisco GW (that's why trying many changes in Hipath side didn't fix the issue). The configuration to be changed was alert-wait-time (Time to wait for alert...

Timer for E1-R2 (Brazil) channel (Dev type DIUCQ421) get response for outside call

sbcsu, Do you have any instructions on how do get those "Hard Disk traces"? I need to check if I have any Assistant working at all and I didn't know that there is another way to trace calls. I did a full debug on the Cisco GW to check this.. and it seems that the disconnect signal is really...

Timer for E1-R2 (Brazil) channel (Dev type DIUCQ421) get response for outside call

sbcsu, The only way to do the trace is using the Assistant right? Do you think the trace would tell which timer to look for? I saw the doc you sent, it do not cover much of this kind of E1 signalling issue. Regards, Joao Arruda

    Difference between (COS1 and COS2) and (LCOSV1 and LCOSV2)

Hi folks, Sorry that this one can be really basic, but I can find the answer for it in the Siemens doc I have. Can someone explain what is the difference between (COS1 and COS2) and (LCOSV1 and LCOSV2) in a station configuration? If I have the following config, when the different settings...

LCR digit pattern maximum digits in length

sbcsu, Thanks for your quick reply. I see that using LODR to outpulse the **1234567 would work somehow. The problem is that I have more than 1600 valid PIN numbers, so I can't see a way to make it work for all those numbers. I'm interested in the latest suggestion "Another way would be to...

LCR digit pattern maximum digits in length

Hi there, I´m doing an integration of my Siemens Hipath 4000 with a VoIP system. Right now all the E1 connections I have on the Siemens system are connected to the VoIP system using an E1 <-> SIP gateway. While doing this configuration one of the things we look for is to leave the PIN dialing...
