Extending a Expansion Module several feet away
You are correct in that you cannot extend the DS30 beyond the length of the supplied cable. By the way, that's not a typical patch cord, this cord has extra sheilding, as you'll note from the metal wrap around the RJ45 connector. Music on Hold for Idle handsets
At best "Music on set" on IPO is troublesome. When a user is playing music, the set shows as 'engaged' to a receptionist, and anyone with a programmed autodial key to that extension.- Ivan_Cohen

All of a sudden in IP Office outside calls show the main BTN and not the actual extension of the user making the phone call. How can I fix this?
