As I stated above we have had this on multiple systems to the point that I have escalated this to Backbone support. We are not the only ones with the issue, but Avaya is working on a firmware update to fix this. 7 or the last 12 we have put in are doing this....

Voice announce= call an internal extension, it rings once and goes off hook. You can then start speaking to them without picking up the handset. The system by default should do this. I confirmed today that it was not the phones, but I can't find in system flags where anything would be different.

4400 series set Phone has to be set as System phone. Under the user and telephony tab in the Manager program check System phone. On the phone press Menu twice Press Func Arrow Right once press Setup Press time Enter time 11*30 (star is for :) Press Done.
