tlcscousin, Normally it's connected by Ethernet. Never by USB. I get the error even if i'm completely disconnected from anything. Warning is from the New Found Hardware Wizard, so it's XP. The printer works fine after reboot. However, I can NEVER find a way to get rid of the hardware...

The port name is hpc6280b IP address is 192.168.2.5. I'd prefer to use the printer's hostname and have with the privious all in one printer. I've tried changing the address to the printer's hostname also for this problem which did not help.
