YOU WERE RIGHT... ONLY THE TOP THREE ON EACH WORK AS EXTENSION INDICATORS. I CHANGED THE AUTODIALS AROUND AND NOW IT WORKS GREAT... THANKS AGAIN

I have a nortel 3x8 dr5.1 and have 3 T7316Es and 3 7208s and a cordless. On the T7316e it should show when the extensions are in use. I have programmed with F*2 each extension to a button but only some of the extensions are in use. What can fix this???

i did this... lines 1 and 2 are set to pool A and each phone has the prime line set to Pool A, but for some reason when i pick up the phone it uses line 2 first?? Any ideas?

We have a 3x8 and have two lines. I want it to pick up on line 1 first when someone picks up the phone then line two if someone is on line one. how do i setup this???

my t7316 displays it fine, but just not the t7208

I have a norstar 3x8 DR5.1 and on the 7208 phones I have 5 of the 8 buttons programede to internal extensions.. The problem is when one of the programmed extensions is in use, it will not light up the triangle next to it showing who is on different phones. anyone have a clue of how to make it...

I am new to all this an have a nortel norstar 3x8 dr5.1 and want to hook up a cordless phone... what do I have to do to hook this up?? also will the cordless work with caller id? I think it is called an analog terminal adapter but does anyone know what kind?

the lcd is fine... it just won't show on any of the 7208s

ok... but i want it so that i can look at a phone and tell what extension is using the phone... i have set the t7208 up where each extension has a button, but it does not show up on the display... any ideas... it works fine on the t7316E.. but not on the 7208

Ok... Thanks RikRodgers... does it usually light up the extension that is using the line though?
