IP Office Release 6.1 will be supported on the following control units: IP406v2 (64Mb PCS 8 and later), IP412, IP500, IP500v2
How do I check and see if it's 64Mb PCS 8 or later?
Okay new scenario -
Users are actually hitting 0 which is a (virtual or un-tti'd) extension built into the system with a coverpath to extension 1000
So when the users hit 0 and extension 1000 forwards their phone to another internal, the calling party hears a busy signal.
Reception (x1000)leaves for lunch, hits the call-fwd key + extension (x1001)number. Internal user dials extension 1000 and receives a busy signal instead of forwarding to extension 1001
single switch nothing crazy - G3 Ver8
It is the reception phone but setup as a normal user
forward extension 1000 to 1001
Call extension 1000 internally and you get a busy signal
What is the best way to call forward a phone to another internal phone, Using the call forward key does not seem to work for internal calls (only external calls)
COS option I am missing maybe?
Of course you typically install the IPO modules right on top of each other using the supplied cord (I think it's a 1 foot cable)Does anyone know if you could install a new module on a different rack several feet away from the base unit using a normal patch cord? or if there is a distance problem
Thanks for the quick response, i dont see anything in the 46xxsettings.txt for a prefix or anything like it. btw it's also completly commented out. so I looked through all the settings on the phone and cant find anything there either.
Any other ideas or do you know where on the 46xxsetting.txt...
Working on IPO 500 ver 4.1
for call logs:
I usually put a 91 in the prefix field on the Line tab
I have to kinds of phones on this new install
4610's
3711 Dect phones
with adding a 91 in the prefix the outbound call log works for the 3711 dect phones but breaks the 4610 ip phone log
