I had read somewhere on the sales pitch of Accpac that it supports Linux but a wine based install cannot really be called a linux product. Many thanks for your help and guidance on this.

Accpac is supported on Linux. If one gets a Linux version how is financial reporter supported on a terminal server type of install. Can one use the excel installed on their pc for this purpose ?

Is it possible to reach an extension for eg 3120 by just pressing 3 or any other number ?

initially i connected a digital extension to check the port number. When that digital extension came up i checked active connections to find the port number i then removed the digital extension and did not put the analog one yet. I then tried to change the model to analog but it still changes...

I have a digital dn. Nothing is connected to the port. When i try to change the model to analog it changes back to one of the digital phones. Any reason why its doing this

I don't have a dial tone. I have not changed anything on this port. I just connected a digital extension and then realising that I did the wrong thing reconnected the fax machine. Is there any way the port might have blown off I have another ATA and can try putting that in to see if it works.
