Forwarding 4 phone numbers after hours

I need to be able to forward 4 phone lines to an extension after business hours. I have them forwarding the calls manually right now using our feature access codes, but the users would like a more simple way. Our company did not purchase the "time of day" feature on our switch. I tried creating a hunt group, but I can't seem to get it to work. The hunt group works if I dial it directly, or if I place it in a coverage path. What I attempted was, placing this hunt group on a feature button on the user's phone that they can press before leaving the office that would forward all 4 numbers to this hunt group. I can't get that working either. Am I on the right track? Is there some other suggestion you may have? Any info would be of great help. Thanks!

What version are you on ??
If possible, you can switch between 2 different cov paths.
But it depends on the software version .....

Yeah, you can call that the ice age :)

Ok, you can ask for an upgrade but that will not help you at the moment. Are you able to use Vectors ??
That can be a solution.

Erik.

No, we don't have call vectoring either.
Not only do we have a dated system, we also have very limited options. I was told that I didn't need to be trained in call routing on our system, so my knowledge is just the basics (and what I taught myself along the way).
It sounds like I may not be able to make it any easier, huh?

Thanks for all of your help! :)

No problem.... but this is not looking good.
I have to remember what a V3 could and couldn't do. I started with a V3 years ago but with more options.

So, my next try will be call forwarding.... is your system able to do that ?? Normally it should, but I just want to be sure. :)
It will still be a manual thing (not automatic) but it will make the life of your end-user easier.

We do have call forwarding.
In between speaking with you, I was trying a bunch of things. I gave then two buttons on each of their phones. One button to dial an abrv-dial list programmed to "call forward" the phone and another button to release the call forwarding. I'm hoping that it makes it easier for them.

Thanks again for all your help! You've been great!

Hey, that was my idea !!! :)
Indeed, I think that this is the best solution at the moment.

Yeah, sometimes trial & error will give the solution you need.
If you have a question or problem, let us know.

Regards,
Erik.
