Running IP office 5.0 with 1616 1.2

When the phone comes up it says NOT LOGGED IN and has a login on the left soft key. I have unchecked agent mode in manager but that didnt work. This is just an admin phone and it acts like it is a call center phone wanting the agent to login. Any help would be great.

When you say comes up do you keep unplugging it or something? As IP sets need to be logeed in when you do this :)

Ignore that, in Manager (not phone manager) do you have force login ticked?

what do oyu use to log in? The phone is registered as the correct extension. The extension and passcode set in manager are not what it appears to be looking for.

Yes by come up I mean when it initially boots up and it is ready to use, except the screen shows the extension, time and date on line one, line two says "NOT LOGGED IN" and line three has Login over the left softkey.

which tab is force login on?

found it under telephony and supervisor and it is not ticked.

It's looking for the login code in the User under "Telephony" then "Supervisor settings" :)

Try a Mute , LOGOFF (564633) # Then select Yes. Now login with the right extension number.

once I put a code in the login code under telephony I just made it the same as the extension it took it and went to the main screen. Is the typical of the 1616 phone? The 5621 I have doesnt seem to do that it just boots up and is ready to use. The 1616 came up as the right extension but was limited in functionality until I got this login code in there. This seems like it wants to be an ACD phone

Just remove the Code, and do as above. Your phone had probably already an extension number but it was not prgrammed into the IPOffice. Check the "extensions" and look up "Unknow IP Handset" then lookup that number in the "user" if that is not ther than that was the number the 1616 had.
