I am trying to set up s button on a 6408D+ so that I can progamm a button to send calls to a cell phone. I have ec500 license. I have the old G3 version 11 were I type command "cha xmobile config-
Can some please show me how to do this? Or is there another way?

Are you thinking of the extend-call feature that's used to extend a call that has not been routed via EC500?

Try this command change off-pbx-telephone station-mapping xxxx where xxxx is the station extension you are mapping. Probably read the PDF above too. There is a little more that needs to be done in System parameters coverage.

I don't believe that the G3V11 has the off-pbx station mapping option. It'll have to be done via an xMobile station. You cannot use the extend-call feature.

1. add sta n
2. set type xmobile
3. fill out the cell phone number mapping information including your 8 or 9.
4. go to page 3 and change the Line Appearance from call-appr to brdg-appr and add in line 1 of the phone that you want to have this feature.

ta-da.

I believe that's it... It's been years since we've done it.

I was trying to activate the the EC500 and I dont know where the office number station security code is. Where do I administer that? Its not the same as the TTI security code?

on the station form, it is in the middle, Security Code:. the length is set in the feature-related system parameters form.

Manfmmd:
I was able to activate it but when I do the status station is says EC500: n/a.
On the xmobile station 3rd page I have
Line Apperence brdg-appr btn 4 ext 4114

and on my actuall station 4114 I have call-appr on the fourth btn. It that correct?

I dont know what Im missing could it have something to do with the cor?

On your xmobile station, you need to have your extension programmed in as the first line appearance as such:

Line Appearance: brdg-appr Btn:1 Ext:4114

It need to be button "1".

EC500 needs to be activated on the xMobile station.

Manfmmd:
I enabled it on the xmobile station (4099)and the line apperence is brdg-appr btn 1 4114- this is my office extension)
But how do I get all the calls comming into 4114 to go to the xmobile 4099 so it will ring at my cell?
What do I have to activate on my 4114 ext for it to send all calls to 4099?

Leave 4114 alone.

Have you checked your xMobile Licensing/RTU's? (disp cap, page 8)

When you status station 4099, does it show EC500 enabled?

On page one of 4099, what do you have Mapping Mode set to??

Can you post screenshots please of station 4099?

I have 10 licenses
It shows EC500 enabled
Maping mode to termination
and how do I post a sceen shot on this site?

In ASA, highlight the text, right click and copy. Then paste it into here... I'm sorry I said screenshot, I meant copy/paste...

Match the COR and COS of your primary station

This shouldn't make a difference, but change the Mapping Mode to "Both"

Is trunk Group 1 your local DID trunk group?

Are your local calls 7 digit?

Move the leading 9 on the cell phone number up to the Dial Prefix field. (shouldn't make a difference.

Status the 4099 station again and verify that EC500 is enabled and you should be good. If not, do a list trace station on 4099 and copy/paste it back here.

Feel free to obfuscate your "real" number if you havent done so already.

I did a status sta and its shows 4099 enabled, but when I call 4114 it rings then goes to VM. How do I activate all calls to go to 4099 from my 4114 ?
I checked all the above and tried different ways , no dice.

4144 isn't x-ported, right? It is assigned to a physical port. Do you have send-calls active on 4114, by chance? Also, you cannot test this from your extension because it'll look like you are calling yourself. It needs to be tested from a separate extension.

4114 has a port assigned to it, sac is not active. I call my 4114 extension from my cell, it rings then goes to VM. How do I tell 4114 to go to 4099 instead of the coverage path?
