I have tested VDN override 'y' and 'n', but can't seem to get the name of the VDN to show in the displays. The VDN is the only point in a coverage path for several users. The intent is to alert the person at the ringing phone that this particular call has grown old and needs handling immediately. why won't my VDN name pass to the sets?

Unfortunately the VDN override won’t pass through a coverage path. It will just pull the name of the associated extension with that assigned path. I have one department here which needs a coverage path due to the amount of rings. They don’t want to have to hit SAC when they leave. So I route to virtual extension and that extension has a coverage path with the reps in it. I have explained to them doing it this way, they will lose the visual of which toll free the callers are calling. Now all they see is the name of the virtual extension. All other departments are queued via a Vector with VDN override enabled which shows on the display the name of the VDN.
