Zoom Lens Bug?

It's like a graveyard in this thread, but here goes nothing: my new version of PS 6.0 runs fine...with one exception. Everytime I attempt to zoom in with magnifying lens, within one or two clicks the monitor begins to be filled with irregular blocks and globs of black and gray and zigzaggy lines and other unreadable garbage!
Basically, I can't zoom in without this happening.
Any ideas, anyone?

Hi, I can't reproduce your results. Do you have video alpha on (under transparency and gamut, preferences)?
What type of video card do you have? I'm running an Nvidia TNT2 at work, and a Rage Fury at home, both no problems.
