Zips open in Search! 1

Can't figure this one out, ZIP files default 'opener' is Windows Search!

Tried setting it to Explorer in file types, no effect

(WinXP SP2)

Should be set to "Compressed (zipped) Folder"

Try setting it to that

You might also want to download winzip, or some zipping utility that works better than WinXPs native unzipper.

You could try resetting your file associations to their original default setting.

Hmmm.. TSS, I already did that... vacunita, I'm not a fan of Winzip compared to the native system, just seems like another clunky app to load.


linney, I had high hopes for that, but it didn't work! STILL opens in "Search"! gutted ...
