Hi,

Have a quick question: The files in windows Me/XP when you have a .zip file or compressed file you can use it as if it were a folder. So its like the compressed file isn't really compressed as its invisible to the user (except it looks like a folder with a zip down the middle..)

Anyway does windows 2000 have this feature?

Thanks

Chris

I dont think it does. Windows XP is more likely to have this feature - can anyone back me up on this?

Xp included basic zip functionality into the OS. It is necessary to use a 3rd party program under older OSes. I would recommend WinZip or PkZip.

I haven't lost my mind - I know it's backed up on tape somewhere ....
