Zip ddrive by iomega 1

I have an older Zip drive that I want to use on my new PC. Its a Zip 100 by iomega. Will this work with XP.? Its a parallel port attachment.
What I want to do is backup some files to it.
Any Suggestions????

It will certainly work.

I don't know if Win XP has a suitable driver available, but you can always get one at Iomega's web site.

thanks tony...I will be trying it tomorrow. How do you backup your PC? and what files do you backup. Like the settings? I use to know the name for the IE address book, but cant remember.

The drive will be assigned a drive letter (you could change it to Z: if you want) and you can write to it like any other drive. What you put on the discs is a matter for yourself, but the "Documents and Settings" directory would be a useful place to start.
