Callers zero out of VM and route to CAS which rings on and never goes to the general mailbox.

Merlin Legend R3, Merlin Mail R1.

Change the CASO from 768 to the actual extension number of the Operator. Look under system parameters.

Will the General Mail box change from 9991 to the Operators extension?

No 9991 will not change - and the general mailbox - is usually used only for messages after hours or on weekends. Do what TouchToneTommy suggested. I would also make the Dial Zero/Time-out action for the AA Day Menu - the same, i.e., change it to transfer to the actual Operator Ext# - instead of CASO.

in the Merlin mail. choose your Attendant for day after your selectors code *# change your zero timeout to transfer to a station ,use your operators extension, in night have it go to your general box 9991

Thanks gentlemen. You guys are teriffic.

Set CASO to 20, which is the operators console (not being used). Set Dial 0 on AA1 to extension 20.

It still RNA's when you zero out of an extensions VM box.

Right now CG 770 is routing calls to AA1. 770 covers pool 70 which has the lines. Everyting seems to work OK except for the RNA when callers zero out of a mail box. It is ringing extension 20 but they want it to cover to VM after a reasonable time.

So setup a mailbox for ext 20 - and add ext 20 to the Cover Group for voicemail. You could do the same thing - using ext 10. But set ext 10 as the CASO and make the Day Dial Zero/Time-out to transfer to ext 10.

Thanks Tom:
I found the problem. There was a VMS coverage button programmed on ext 20. It was preventing 20 from covering to VM.

Thanks for the help.
