Has anyone written the Zenworks for Desktops 4 exam? I'm taking it in a couple of days and want to know if it is similar to the Zen 3 exam. Also is it a tough exam? I've been studying the Zen 4 Administrator's handbook. Are there any exam simulations out for version 4? I couldn't locate any.

Novell Rocks!!!

HAHA.. Don't take this wrong, but I used to live in Michigan, and I worked with this guy who was from Canada.

Anyway, he'd always say "I wrote an exam today". And being from Idaho, I didn't know what the hell he was talking about. How do you "Write" an exam? Doesn't Novell "write' the exams, and we just "TAKE" them?

Finally, one of my older and wiser coworkers translated it and told me that canadians have different terminology than americans, and then I was shown the light. But your question brings back memories, cause Michigan is the coolest place I've ever lived.

I "Wrote" the exam when it was in Beta and passed. A lot of the stuff was similar to older versions. In fact, since it builds on previous versions, a lot of the stuff is the same. But you need to be able to understand the tier structure and everything about making it work without the Novell client. It focuses more on using Zenworks as an enterprise deployment and management tool rather than one server, a few people, and a few applications.

Hope that helps.

Marvin,

Thanks for the followup to my question, seeing your from Idaho I understand where your comming from. I "took" and passed the exam on Friday. There were alot of questions on identifying the properties for ZEN objects in ConsoleOne. It was a pretty hard test. Luckily, I use Zenworks 4 for Desktops where I work which really helped out.
