HI!
We just installed Netware 6.5 and ZFD 7 on the administrative net of ouer community.
After putting an image on a new machinetype, Windows goes into protective mode and then I try to start windows XP normaly or any other mode the machine starts all over again. The only way to start the machine is to repair Windows XP and then it works for that machine type. The drivers for each machinetype is present in the image becauce I have used the same image repetidly. We have another net that had ZFD 401 and is upgraded to ZFD7. This type of imaging worked just fine before the upgrade. Havent had time to test if I now have the same problem here. This way we need to have a lot of images instead of one baseimage and it takes a lot of diskspace.

Does anybody have any clue to that the problem can bee

Post a copy of your SySprep.inf (and X out the license key if present)

Hi! Can´t find any sysprep.inf in any image. Where should i look for it? Have done further tests and even a new image. Always get the same result. Windows XP loads 10-20 files then it restarts (this I can see then it starts in safe mode). My old images from ZFD4.01 works just fine.

ZfD imaging is not your problem, it's doing it's job. Windows is your problem. To acomplish your goal, go up to support.microsoft.com and lookup SysPrep.

ZfD will just deliver the image for you, it doesn't setup the PC.

And if you really do not want to think about whats going on, and just want a universal image, check Universal Image Utility from these guys;
