When I launch the Desktop Manager it doesn’t ask me which profile I want to use. It says “connecting to email system”, it then comes back with “your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable”. I have tried this VPN’d in with Outlook running and with Outlook not running... I have tried rebooting the machine... I can click “work offline”, I can set up “configure PIM” then run “sync now” and I get this error log:

You can force the Redirector to ask for the profile by going into the Redirector Settings, on the Advanced tab, and using the Profile Settings button.

Just check off the "Prompt for the profile to be used" option and you're off.

To make it the "permanent and official" account, just check off the appropriate checkbox when prompted under the Options section (use the button).
