I'm able to access voice mail boxes
but not phone trees
when I press any key option I get this message

" your call cannot be completed at this time "

any suggestions on how to fix it ?
or what is causing problems

for that menu that you're accessing...when you press a key...

1st, is that key define in the menu service - just because the prompt say to press it...does not mean its programmed.

2nd, what is that key, suppose to do? xfer, thru-dial, disconnect, repeat...etc..

yes the key option ( press one, press two etc)
is programmed to dial out to a cell phone(s)
It's not one number this is happening to to all
the phone trees I tried to dial out of ( press one , press two)

It worked up until yesterday ( we lost local dialing)
due to a local telcom company mistake

can you send me a copy of a restrictions permissions list ?
so I may compare mine

westside, you just need to go into the RPL's of the MerMail and enter or allow the cell phone numbers you want to dial out to. I'll see if I can dig something out for you.

So from tha main menu choose;
#3-Voice Admin, then
#3-RPL,
If you are callin out to local cell phones, move the cursor down to local and press the space bar to highlight local, and once highlighted, press F3 to view/modify.

You will see fields for Restrictions, and fields for permissions. Enter the cell phone numbers in the field for pemissions. And if you have to dial 9 to get a local trunk at your location, don't forget to put a 9 in front of the cell phone number. Hopefully this helps a little.

I added my cell phone to the list with access code 8
It allows me to get to the voice mail
ACCESS DN 3999 MS
VSA 3999 with menu choices
my local cell phone number is programmed on the press one option

-called 3999 and get a same message when i press option one
"your call can not be completed at this time ? "

what I'am doing wrong ? Please help

I created a phamton TN with a 4 digit #
the DCFW 16 forwarded to my cell
THAT WORKED
maybe I should just create ACD for this problem

The NCOS on those MM ports needs to be high enough to allow access to LD calls or Local calls, depends on your needs...
