Hi,

I've just had two Mitel IP3300 Phone systems installed - I've been told I should get Your Assistant Lite free with the range of phones I have, however I can not find it anywhere - the install I've been given by my service provider appears to install the full version.

Does the lite edition still need the server component??

Thanks

David

Your Assistant Lite (light?) is no longer free, and now does require the server component to run.

If you still have the older download then I would imagine it will still work... I am going to try it this week.

You can try the Full Your Assistant product free for 60 days though .. just login to Mitel online.

Sorry - never had a download of it, can someone send me a link or a copy of the older version?

Thanks

David

Hi,

Sorry to bump this thread but I haven't been able to extract an older version of YA Lite from anyone...

Is there anyone out there with a copy they could zip up and email to me?

Thanks.

David

Hi,

YA lite was stopped because of of security problem..Anyone can managed any sets (with suficient COS rights of course) !!!
If you still interested in YA lite version, I can upload it on a server...
Let me know
Regards

CMAC1 you can upload the file to for free.

*** Do not browse away from the site while the upload is taking place ***

It asks for but you do not need to give your real name or email address, nor the address of the recipient.

When the upload completes it will give you a url link to the file. It's a fairly cryptic filename so be sure to use cut-n-paste

Then come back here and post the link. Up to 10 downloads of the same file are allowed.

That relay site was very popular during the height of the Sat-TV hacking era. Nice to see it's still there. Handy at times.

Thanks for that link... does anyone know if that version of YA Lite will work with the new 5330/5340 IP Phones?

CHeers!

The Full Version of YA, Release 3.2, does have limited success with the 5330/5340 sets, but Mitel says that those sets are NOT supported until the next YA release. Taking that a step further, I would suspect that your release of YA Lite is not designed to work with the 5330/5340 sets. Try it and let us know.

My Biggest problem is that I almost always believe what I tell myself.

My initial testing did not go well, I would think that I can be pretty sure that the "lite" version does not work with the 5330 IP Phone.

So bad news...
