Hi, this is my second question in 2 days! Sad really.
We've installed SMS 2.0 and are using a selection of BDC's in our domain (NT 4) as CAP's and DP's. They all seem to be working OK but one.
We are getting error messages in Site Status\Component Status all pointing at this server - first one: SMS_Executive - unable to copy mscvrt.dll to a directory on the CAP. This just keeps failing.
Next error message - SMS_Inbox_Manager_Assistant telling us the SMS Executive service is not running on the server.
I've been through all our servers we've designated as CAP's and the SMS Executive service is not installed on the problem server but is on all the others. This is obviously why the file won't copy accross I think (?) but why wouldn't the SMS Executive service install. I can't see any relevant error messages on the problem server. I've checked basics like permissions.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Not really sure what to do or where to look next!
Thanks a lot.
