Year to date not working for me...need formula that would do... 1

What is a good formula that would pull data for me starting from the beginning of the year(2002) to date (today). For some reason I tell crystal to give me data for example:
{Time Call Received} in YearToDate and it is only pulling up dates from the start of year to May 7th which is not what I asked for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using crystal 7.01.

{YourTable.YourField >= Date(Year(CurrentDate),1,1)
and
{YourTable.YourField <= currentdate

Both this and the yeartodate are dependent upon your system date being correct.

I got it to work guys by doing this, it just came to mind:

year(Time call received)= [2002] and then grouped the field by month...

Odd that the yeartodate didn't work...

Also, your formula will require updating each year, if you're going to use that, perhaps:

year(Time call received)= year(currentdate)

will allow for future years.

It will also pull back dates beyond the current date, if any might exist.
