Hi everyone,

I am palnning to close year tommorrow as of December 2007. I have tested ap, ar and inv close for 2007. while testing GL closing for the year 2006, which is still open, the system says single entry JE's are not posted. I know these je's are for year 2007. I will be closing GL only upto 2006, not 2007.

Can anybody how explain how je's relating to 2007 or recurring entries which are in GL would behave if I close GL for the year 2006. Is it safe to close year 2006 for GL even if je for 2007 still exist

thanks

That message is just a warning for you to ensure that there are no unposted entries for the year you are closing. Since your JE's are for 2007 you should be ok to close 2006.
