Does anyone have experience setting up a Yak SIP trunk in IP office? Yak provides the following:
Username: xxxxxxxx
Password: xxxxxx
Domain: yakdigitalphone.ca
Proxy address: sip.tor.yakdigitalphone.ca
STUN server address: stun.tor.yakdigitalphone.ca
For testing I have my IP Office directly connected to my modem (no firewall). With System Status I can ping the Yak domain so I know the system is on line. After that I'm still working my way through the documentation. This is my first SIP setup and there is still lots to learn!
Yes, I do have SIP trunk licensing. Yes, I have paid for support from my vendor (the Yak setup is for in house testing, we will be using Shaw SIP trunks on site where my paid support comes into play.)
I can confirm my Yak account works using X-Lite. Documentation for X-Lite setup with Yak is here.
Can anyone provide some direction?
Part 2 of my question relates to the default gateway. Normally my setup only uses the LAN, so the default gateway settings on the IP route where IP address and IP mask all set to 0.0.0.0 and gateway IP address set to my network gateway works fine. With SIP trunks I need a to set a WAN gateway in addition to my LAN gateway. Having the IP route address and mask both set to 0.0.0.0 would not be correct (and does not work). How should this be setup?
Thanks in advance for any advice,
Tom
