You could try uninstalling and re-installing Yahoo, just to see if that makes any difference? Possibly you could try running Yahoo in the Compatibility Mode of XP SP2?

linney thanks for reply. Yes it was running in compatible mode. i change it then even i try to uninstall and reinstalled again but still same problem.

I not familiar with Yahoo, Do you use IE or any browser to log in to it?

If you do, and if you use IE7, can you try IE7 with No Add-ons?

yes i am using ie7, but now problem is as soon as i press ie icon, browser open and then close it self. i scaned but no virus. is any way to uninstaal and reinstall browser....?

Is the following possible from Safe Mode, if that is the only access to IE you have, or can you bypass the Desktop Icon and head straight for the Iexplore .exe in Normal Mode?

You could try resetting Internet Explorer settings. (Help and Support article)

"If disabling add-ons doesn't solve the problem, try resetting Internet Explorer back to its default settings. This removes all changes that have been made to Internet Explorer since it was installed, but it does not delete your favorites or feeds.

Close all Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer windows.

Click to open Internet Explorer.

Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.

Click Reset.

When you are done, click Close, and then click OK.

Close Internet Explorer and reopen it for the changes to take effect."

If you have System Restore points then using that may be an option.

You could try the System File Checker program.
