Hi, i found it easier intergration with active directory/ldap to get the contacts.

You just map ad fields for phone ID and switch IP. Then get the admins to go through adding these in which will automatically populate YA.

I set the default to no licesing and then added in the applicable users for licenses which generates a nice full corp directory.

There is a text log file, if you right click the 'site' name, at top level in the YA Admin tool, and choose: View Server Log File

it will open in notepad

newest entries at bottom

I often set the MiXML sync time a few minutes ahead of the server clock, wait, then view this log file.

Also, you can right click to enable/disable 3300 syncing, and, via RDP at least, the colour change for enabled/disabled is not significant/easily noticeable (so if nothing appears in the log file, check this).

Neil.

I tried getting the Ldap to work didnt work that well

I was trying to pull our Tel Dir and it seems like its only
pulling the users entried i manually put in the user field

also i did try doing that also viewing the logs it does see that login/logout to the mitel succedded so im kinda in a loop now.

haha .. thanks
