Figured this one out, you need to have .net 1.1 installed or it dont work, dont beleive the installation where it says 1.1 or higher

I believe the docs say that you can have .net 2 installed but you must have 1.1 for YA to run.
BTW
How do you like it. I was test driving it for the softphone and I am not very happy with it as a soft phone solution.

its ok, but I only have the light so is no more than a speed dialler really, trying to get my company to spend £500 on the ya package

Are you aware that the Lite version, even the "free" version links up with your Outlook Contacts allowing you to dial directly from Outlook?

I am trying to get a more upto date version have 3.07 at the moment, but Mitel aint that fothcoming

3.07 integrates with Outlook just fine. There used to be a note in the Knowledge Base about it. May still be there, someone wrote it a couple years ago. Basically you need to have YA Client running first then go into your Outlook Contacts and configure your dialer to use the same ext. that your YA is associated with. From then on just double click one of your contacts & click on the little Phone icon on the toolbar. A little window will pop up and you click on 'start call'. It takes approx 3~5 secs to kick off, but otherwise works mighty fine.
