YA Lite - Copying contacts from PIM to 'People'

Hi

Just started using YA Lite as a method of integrating pc/ip phones and also for evaluating whether we can justify outlay for YA or LCS

Everything is working as expected but on some user pc's we are having no luck copying contacts by manual drag and drop from outlook to YA lite.

All pc's are on WinXP pro and all IP phones are working from the same controller.

Has anyone experienced this before? Would be very grateful for a reply.

I guess the question to be asked, is where are you "dropping" the contacts into YA? I drop mine into the DIAL BAR at the top and it works, however I'm using the full version of YA.

I'm not sure how you are justifing YA or LCS, but would think you should list your requirements first and then justify which package makes sense.

thanks - we're just seeing if it is used within the office

users have a habit of wanting the earth and then not using it - YA Lite gives us a good opportunity to see whether the take up will be worth it.

back to the original problem! - thanks for your reply. I am trying to drop the contacts into 'personal contacts' in YA lite.

No, drop them into the white bar at the top that is located to the left of the CALL button.

tried that - still won't work

the method mentioned previously works on most of our pc's - just not three of them :O(

I'm not sure then? That's weird. Is it the same software version?
