I am currently running Lotus Release 4 and AmiPro Release 3. Are these 2 releases Y2K compliant?
I don't know if AmiPro is y2k compliant, but Notes 4.5 is. Notes from 4.5 will interpret two digit years from 00-49 as being in the year 2000. Two digit years from 50-99 are interpreted as the 1900s. It is important to note that two digit years from 00-49 will be stored and automatically displayed as 2000-2049 (unless programmed otherwise). Two digit years from 50-99 will be stored as 1950-1999, but will display as two digit years, unless a four digit date is input, or programmed to show

Y2K issues include, how Notes applications exchange data based on dates with ‘other’ software, Y2K risk level assessments (potential liability due to a misinterpreted date), historical dates (birth dates, date an employee began working for the comapny) and how Notes dates are displayed on forms and views.

Internally in Notes, all dates are compared, sorted and calculated using 4-digit years. Beginning with Notes Release 4.5 Lotus incorporated a sliding window approach.

This technique determines the century of a two digit year by comparing the two digit year against a window of 100 years. Two digit years with a value between 00 to 49 are assumed to be in the 21st century, while two digit years between 50 and 99 are assumed to be within the 20th century.

Notes Release 4.5x uses a "seed-date" of 50, regardless of the release that an application was designed under. If an application had been designed under a pre-4.5x release, and the user was running a pre-4.5x release of Notes, then two digit years would be interpreted as within the 20th century. Years entered as four digit years were automatically Y2K compliant.

If an application had been designed under a under a pre-4.5x release, and the user is running Release 4.5x the seed-date of 50 is in effect.

You can easily test an app by moving that system date ahead to the year 2000. But BEWARE. If you move the system date ahead you must close Notes and restart, or Notes will retain the first date that you move ahead to.
Check IBMs web sites and Lotus web sites for y2k and Lotus.

Hope this has been useful.
