XWindow under Wincrach is it possible ?

I had always asked myself if the very stable XWindow can be seen in a remote PC under Wincrach 9x/NT by a Lan connection?

Some body have any link or idea ?

I prefere a free software, if there is one ...

Have you looked into VNC? I think that should do what you want...

There are loads of implementations out there (do a search for vnc on freshmeat) but I use the default one shipped with RH and it works a treat.

VNC is one way, but you can get a true implementation of an X-window server by going to

and downloading X-Win32. This runs as a remote X system, connecting to your server exactly the same way another Linux system would connect. The Demo never expires, although it logs you out after an hour of use. Try it; if you like it, the full purchase is not too expensive.
