XSLT and special characters

Hi

Does anyone one know if XSLT code likes special characters, for example an é for a french e acute character. When i test my xslt code with that special character in, it interprets the special character then complains that "an invalid character found in the text content".

Any ideas how to get around this problem

yes.

use "& #xE9 ;" sans spaces and quotes.
