First You would need to setup all the Partitions you want, using preferrably a third party app, like Partition Magic.
Then once you have them the way you like, you set the boot order to boot from CD first and put in your Windows 2000 CD. Install Windows 2000 on the C: drive, and once it is up and running, install Windows XP, by booting with its CD , and following the Setup. the XP setup will then create the bootloader.
It would have been easier to have 2000 pro installed and then install XP on a second partition. You will need to create a new partition for 2000 pro. If you have used the whole drive for XP. You can make a new partition using administrative tools> computer management> disk management>
You can make the partition about 8Gig. Format it NTFS.
Using Microsoft's power tool tweakui. If you do not have this power tool you can down load it at:
After hiding the partition reboot the computer with the 2000 pro installation disk in the cd drive. Install 2000 pro.
After installation you will have to unhide the partition XP is on.
Then you will need to fix the boot configuration to have the option to boot from either OS.
