XPLN, changing names

I have an option 11 in which XPLN seems to be set to 10 on most DNs. How can I change this? My 61C XPLN seems unlimited (at least, I haven't had a name yet that's too long).

When I need to change name only on a DN, do I have to type

KEY XX SCR XXXX

first just to get to the NAME prompt? Seems like a waste of time when I'm not making any changes to the DN.

As usual, thanks for all help. My 3904 questions were answered the other day and the first two users really like them. I like not having to label them and will REALLY like the MerMail softkey commands when I put a 3904 on my desk!!

Have you checked LD 95? you might want to check and see what your MXLN is.If my memory servers me correctly, the XLPN can't exceed the length that the MXLN is set to!
