I've dual booted a Vista pre loaded HP desktop with XP Pro.

When I go into the Vista side the internet and LAN connections are fine. When I go into XP nothing. Won't even ackowledge there's an NIC.

Any ideas? Do I need to reload the drivers for the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet card? Where do I get them and then place them in the XP registry?

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, I,ve got loads of yellow Q marks coming up next to the NIC in CompMgt. Tried to scan for updated hardware and drivers but it keeps prompting to get them over the internet which of course I haven't got in XP mode. Any suggestions?

Download the drivers from the manufacturer website using Vista and save them somewhere that the XP system can get to.

If you loaded XP before and everything was working, the drivers are or should still be there.
Try Update driver and specify location usually they will be in c:\windows\inf and \system32
