xp unstable with cd software

installed win xp pro & reinstalled all my software xp has disabled nero drivers for software cos xp may become unstable, is there a way of disabling their cd software so as to reinstall mine, any tips apprieciated thanks

What ver of NERO are you using?

The latest works well with XP. In fact, I am able to use XP's built in burner software, NERO, and Roxio CD Creator 5 with no problems.

Make sure you have compatible versions.
