XP pro became unstable with IE, kept closing down when clicking in web sites, so I tried to reinstall the whole kit and kaboodle. No go; it gets to the driver installation, my monitor starts clicking on, off and it will reboot and get to the same place (34 min to go). Sometimes it hangs and I have to turn it off and restart the reinstall but it still never gets to the place where it goes through. ? problem with the Microsoft updates? Only new software is web download of Symantec Virus. Any helps?
