I have a need to use TweakUI, and haven't used it since Win98 and Win2k so I just discovered the changes. The earlier versions had a "Paranoia" tab that provided a user with an option to automatically clear the START/RUN/[MRU list] each time a current user logged off, restarted or shut down.

I need to do this on a shared machine so that guests can't see and execute what I've done through START/RUN, etc. I know how to do it manually in the registry, but really would rather use the option in the old TweakUI or something similar instead of doing that (BTW, the old version won't work with XP).

Am I missing this in TweakUI 2.10.0.0 (the current release for XP), or is there a similar option in the O/S settings somewhere? Any suggestions?

To clarify: the local machine is not accessed by the users with a guest account but with an account that can only run two programs - that's it. Using TweakUI, the username and password are automatically entered at startup.

No My Computer, no network icons, no control panel, etc. The old TweakUI made it easy and fast to customize a set of limitations within minutes without having to write a batch file or schedule a task, etc. We need to send out simple instructions to over 100 locations where the persons making the changes are not really tech-savvy.

I suppose you tried the old TweakUI in other Compatibility Modes?

Thank you, Linney... I'll give that a look. Enjoy the holiday weekend.
