XP Start Menu Configuration

Is there any way to force the start menu on a Windows XP computer to revert back to the traditional start menu? Likewise, is there a way to force the traditional window style?

Any ideas?

In your group policy, under administrative templates, start menu and taskbar, set Force Classic Start Menu to Enable.

Under administrative templates, Windows Components, Windows Explorer set Turn On Classic Shell to Enable.

What if neither of those exist in my Group Policy Editor that comes up when I click Edit Policies in ConsoleOne? I am running ConsoleOne on a Windows XP Machine.

If templates are missing you can add the templates

search your drive for .adm files and make sure they are all in your GPO.
