An automatic update to XP SP2 seems to have broken the update to Word 2003 in ACT!6

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both programmes and used the MS check registry facility.

If I use 'edit templates' word pops up no problem

If i use write letter - word appears in the programme manager (word.exe) but not on the screen.

I have applied all the hotfixes - still no joy.

Has anyone come across this before - all my other machines are on SP1 so this is what I am attributing it to - macro security is set to low.

Help!!

Many thanks

Does this happen with Wite | Fax or Write | template and selecting another template?

Happens with all of the templates that use Word.

Could it be something to do with increased security in SP2??

I have upped the memory in all the machines now running SP2 as it is much worse!!

Try
I the fixes there don't work, I realise this is for an older version of Word, but maybe try
Have you installed the ACT!6 hotfix for Word 2003?

Also try
BTW: Are you using Norton Anti Virus? This can cause issues and you might need to uninstall NAV and ACT!, then install ACT! and the Hotfix then reinstall NAV.
