Hi, The company I work for runs Kerio Winroute firewall and I'm trying to find out if anyone has encountered any problems with compatibility between Kerio and Windows XP pro clients after installing XP SP2??
Any views or experiences would be helpful.

Cheers

Rob

Well if every pc has Kerio installed you would probably want to turn of the windows xp firewall as the kerio blocks connection in both directions.

I actually removed my firewall software from my home pc and is now just running the xp one. Seems so far to be ok. I have to say the improvements done by ms is very good.

Hi everyone,

My brother has XP home in his PC. Sometimes, he want me to access into his PC via modem 56k to do some works.

I installed the product PCAnywhere v10.5 in my PC and his PC. When I tried to connect into his PC, the modem answered correctly but onethinng blocked is XP firewall.

Do you know how to turn off XP home firewall? Please help..

thanks a lot

Foxtech,

To shut off the Internet Connection Firewall in Windows XP Home, click on Start > Control Panel > Network Connections. Right-click Dial-Up Networking, click properties. Click the Advanced tab, and uncheck Internet Connection Firewall. Click Ok.

Don't surf without any firewall protection, configure your firewall version correctly instead.
