XP scroll bars really SLOW

Hi,

Does anyone know why Windows XP is scrolling so slow.

Like if we view web page, the scroll bars have this delayed response..

not sure why..

Pages that use a lot of "Ascii Art" will do this.

I mean, there is not some setting that is causing this? I mean, these are all web pages, not just regular ones..

maybe if we switch to classic view???

The most likely culprit is that your Temporary Internet directory is full and fragmented.

1. In IE, Tools, Internet Options, Clear Files
2. In My Computer, right click Drive C, Properties, and do a Disk Clean.
