XP Remote Deastop Connection

Hello,

I have XP Pro, behind a D-Link DL-604 router.

I have enabled the remote desktopping feature, and now I do not know how to access it.

Any help on this would be appreciated. The documentation on this is choppy at best.

I have tried, from a remote system (outside my netowrk) typing

http://outsideIP/tsweb

I get the page I get the login page: connect.asp but do not know what to type in at this point., I have tried several things, but nothing works.

So, is it just that you can enter some login details, but you dont know what?

You need to find this information out from your IT Dept.

You need to enter the username and password of a valid local user on the remote computer, a user that has also been made a valid user for Remote Desktop on the remote computer.
