can someone give me some insite on this??? i am running xp pro...a few stand alone pc's that aren't connect to a domain. there is one admin account on each machine (me) and many limited accounts...i would like to take it a step further and make it so these limited accounts don't have access to many windows features...such as the start menu, my computer, display settings...how can i do this without installing a 3rd party software? thanks for any replies!

I have a similar question. I have some stand-alone XP Pro machines that I want to lock-down, except the Admin account. How do you use Group Policy Editor to only affect certain accounts, and not the administrator account? I have tried, but any changes I make on the policy also carry over on the Admin account. What am I missing?

Thanks,
John
