Im havening trouble with setting up the RAID and I need HELP, PLEASE......
Mother board (giga-byte) GA-7DXR onboard raid
Processor AMD XP1700
Hard D. IBM 40gig. 7200 rpm (X2)
All components are new.
First I put the motherboard in raid mode, formated both hard drives. With fasttrack util. I put the two hard drives in raid mode striped. Info shows that it is configured correct. When I install XP-PRO, it asked for a third party raid driver I installed the driver that came with the mother board, but it didnt work. I went to the Giga-byte web site and d/l the new driver. I then again installed XP-PRO, installed the third party raid driver and then when it starts to wright to the hard drive it says "NO HARD DRIVE FOUND" Please if anyone can help please do.
