xp pro cannont access win2k server second nic card

The windows 2000 sever can access the internet.
The xppro workstation can access the local network,
but cannot access the internet.
I also have nat running on the server.


Operating system server windows 2000 server
Using DHCP
ist nic
private networks ip 192.168.0.1 server
subnet 255.255.255.0

2nd nic from isp
internet access ip 192.168.254.1
subnet 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.254.254
primary dns 209.142.0.2
secondary dsn 209.142.0.218

I donot know what to do next please help
 
what is the config of the workstation? A+, MCP, CCNA

dID YOU CHECK WITH THE pING COMMAND IF tHE WORKSTATION CAN PiNG (using IP addresses) any outside site ? A+, MCP, CCNA

If your running NAT your clients DNS setting should point to your internal DNS server not your ISP's. Set forwarders in your DNS server's properties and point them to your ISP 's DNS servers.
