xp pro and php

Hey all,

I am trying to run php on my xp pro pc. I have it intsalled and recieved no errors, but I can't seem to run php files. I can run html files ok. I recieve the message "No input file specified" ....any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Did you check whether the files are linked to the php prog?
Go to the Explorer, click Extras/Options/Files and check if the php files are associated with the program.

what version of php? what server? the following may sound like super simple ideas but, have you stopped and restarted the server? if running iis made sure that the .php extension was part of the "documents" list, glanced through the php.ini for any glaring errors. any other info that might help.
