We have several machines here that are running Windows XP 64-bit. Those machines seem problematic at times. Here are the issues.

1) RDP only works 1/3 of the time. When we do get connected, we tend to get kicked out (RDP from XP-32 to XP-64)

2) Cannot Remote manage (compmgmt.msc) from time to time. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not.

3) Some times the UNC names are not accessible.

IF anyone has any tips or suggestions or solutions please let me know!

Yes, I have tried that update. Still cannot get to the machine. I can ping it, and from time to time I can take it over. But most of the time I cant.

These several 64bit machines, are they the same brand and model?

Are they showing any clues in the Event Viewer?

Have you tried using "Safe Mode with Networking" on both client and host, and then on just the client or host?

This thread while probably not that relevant, talks about looking at the various Network Cards drivers.
