It is irritating that the photo printing wizard pops up every time I try to print anything. Can this be disabled anywhere?

I have XP Pro but have never heard of this wizard. I suspect if you go to the printers folder in Control Panel that this may be set as your default printer? If so, right-click on the printer you want and click on "set as default". Just a shot in the dark tho - I know how annoying those da** popups are...

Should have included this in the last post: if you have programming skills and are experiencing this problem from within an application, code to suppress the dialog exists here:

OK one more thing: if you open windows explorer, click on "tools", then "folder options", then "file types", you can change what program is used to open a specific file type (such as a .jpg). This is probably the solution you were looking for. I'll quit triple-posting now, and go lay by my dish...

To Disable: Start - Run - regsvr32 /u shimgvw.dll

To Re-Enable: Start - Run - regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

Had to be!! Can't speak for 6024KE1, but I give you a big fat star - way to go!
